Dharam Hinduja Cambridge Trust Scholarships
This scheme awards Dharam Hinduja Cambridge Scholarships to Indian students for studies at Cambridge University. Hinduja Foundation (UK) has created an Endowment Fund to promote teaching and research on India and South Asia. Hinduja Foundation (India) has created an endowment, the annual returns of which go to the Nehru Trust for Cambridge University, New Delhi. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a non competitive, voluntary programme of activities for the youth. The participants’ talents and abilities are nurtured in the areas of community service, social and vocational skills, physical recreation and travel expeditions.The Award programme assists with crime reduction, drugs awareness, entry in employment, citizenship, life skills and community awareness. To commemorate the Award’s 50th anniversary, in February 2006, Hinduja Foundation (UK) has set up a special monetary fund which will guarantee an income for the Award for the next five years.
